FreePrEP.org exists because the US PrEP access landscape is fragmented, confusing, and full of outdated information. The federal Ready, Set, PrEP program ended in July 2025. Gilead discontinued free generic Truvada in January 2025. Meanwhile, a revolutionary twice-yearly injectable was approved. Dozens of authoritative websites still reference defunct programs as active.
We built FreePrEP.org to be the single, comprehensive, consumer-friendly national resource that explains what actually works right now. No bureaucratic prose. No outdated listings. Just clear, current, actionable information about how to get PrEP at zero cost.
