Q Care Plus and Freddie are strong alternatives where available. Nurx and PlushCare charge fees that are unnecessary given the free options available.
The key distinction is the 340B model. Platforms that partner with 340B-eligible covered entities (MISTR, Q Care Plus) can genuinely provide $0 PrEP because the economics work through insurance reimbursement margins — not by charging you. Platforms without 340B partnerships need to charge fees to cover their costs.
